Code of Conduct
The Big Data Technology Summit conference is intended for networking and collaboration. We value the participation of all members of the community and want all attendees to have a positive and fulfilling experience.
As organizers of the Big Data Technology Summit conference, we want to provide to all paricipants safe and welcoming environment, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, age, physical appearance, disability, religion (or lack thereof). All participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to all other participants throughout the conference and at all conference events.
All attendees, speakers and sponsors at Big Data Technology Summit are required to agree with the following code of conduct.
- Attempt collaboration before conflict.
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
- All event participants are expected to behave in accordance with professional standards, to be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
- Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
- All participants are expect to abide by this Code of Conduct in all community venues.
Examples of unacceptable behaviors include:
intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning speech or actions, offensive comments, verbal threats or demands, sexualized images in public spaces, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of sessions or events, and unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention. Harassment also includes slights and negative messages, both unintended and intentional, based solely on appearance.
Consequences of unacceptable behavior
Unacceptable behavior from any community member, including sponsors and those with decision-making authority, will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
Conference participants violating this Code of Conduct may be expelled from the conference without a refund, and/or banned from future Evention Sp. z o.o. events.
If you are subjected to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns regarding the behavior of other participants, please notify a member of the event staff as soon as possible.
