Yuan Jiang currently is a senior staff engineer in Alibaba and leads storage engine team in the Interactive Analytics product. Interactive Analytics is a large-scale real-time data warehouse product developed at Alibaba. It offers the ability to analyze massive amount of data interactively. It is fully compatible with PostgreSQL. It is adopted internally by Search, Recommendation, and Ads products. And also available in AliCloud. Before joining Alibaba, he was a part of Hortonworks data team. He is Apache HBase committer and PMC member. Prior to Hortonworks, he was in Microsoft working on SQL Server and Bing search engine.
